This luxurious convention hotel, situated at the top of the hill adjacent to Penang Golf Club and near to Airport, opened 1988. Pladesco participated in designing 450 rooms and suites including most of the public area, such as a ball rooms with a capacity of containing 3,000 guests which is the largest in Penang and the food & beverage outlets.
Design works has been carried out at Pladesco's Singapore office with consultation with the owner in Kuala Lumpur.
